Chef’s Selection Whole Black Peppercorns (550g)

Black pepper is obtained from the small dried berries of the vine Piper nigrum. The berries are picked whilst still green, and sun dried until they turn a deep dark brown colour. The material is heat treated. Black peppercorns are left the longest to fully mature, which means that they have a strong spicy flavour which suits stronger meats like steak and beef fillets.
